Hi guys,

I've had my SV650 for 5 weeks now and am really enjoying it. It's completely stock (save for a Datatool System 3).

I'm wondering what more knowledgeable people might suggest as first priority mods? I know nothing about mechanics at all, so would be totally dependant on REALLY simple instructions to fit or getting a dealer/friend to fit the mods.

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance.

I would say that depends on what you want really as there are many mods you could make.

Do you want mods that will enhance the...

looks such as a different screen, tail tidy, end can

performance such as end can, forks, shocks, brakes

ride ability such as different forks, shocks

A few other mods include scottoiler, rear hugger, crash protectors

Motosliders crash bungs, IMO, I'd've put those on as soon as I got it home :) Easy to fit and they'll probably pay for themselves at some point in the bike's life- and could make the difference between a drop and a writeoff (or also, the difference between an embarassing car park drop, and an embarassing car park drp where you break the brake lever miles from home).

And then, as jkchops says, what do you want to do? Personally I reckon nothing pays off on teh SV like suspension work, but if you don't feel it's lacking now then why change it?
