For those that don't know the second acronym, it's "Too ******* Funny"

I recently went out to grab lunch, and put my Dainese jacket on to leave. Walking up the road, I saw a scooter coming a little fast up the hill. Being the guy I am, and it's obvious that I'm a biker, I gave a cheery wave. Scooter boy waved back, mid corner

Long story short, after I controlled my giggling I told him that he really ought to invest in some decent gear, maybe it wouldn't hurt so much next time he fell off mid corner.

I also left my details with him, just in case. But he was the sole party involved in the little dispute with tarmac, so I dont think much will come of it.

Still giggling like a school girl, and I know I shouldn't, but it was hilarious!

If he sues thats fine, my story might just tell how he was coming too fast for the road, and I was supprised he even saw me, and he wasn't wearing the right gear etc etc.

Let the lawyers sort it out... if someone can get sued for being friendly & waving in the street, theres something very wrong with the world.

Still giggling btw.

You forgot, he wasn't in full control of his vehicle as he was waving back.

I agree suing people when it's just plain stupidity is wrong. "I didn't realise coffee was hot" WTF?? :x

*rant over*

Just the thought of that has sent me into giggle fits again.

I've seen bikers wave with one hand off the bars whilst mid corner before, but never seen one hit the deck 'till now

PsychoCannon, that sounds like a bitter old american woman.

"The families of the girls had offered to pay the woman's medical bills if she would agree to indemnify the families against future claims, but she refused to sign the agreement. She said the families' apologies rang false and weren't delivered in person. So she sued the girls and the matter ended up in court."

Their apology "wasn't good enough," so she thought she'd exact revenge.

Seems like the current American "sue everybody for breathing" society.

the coffee one if u think about it isnt stupid

point one: clever woman, burns self, gets loadsa money, rest of life a breeze

point 2, if u look into that story, what the point of it was is that coffee is meant to be served at x temp, nothing more for healh and safty reasons, mcdonals coffee was considribly higher than that leading to more severe burns than what would come of normal coffee temps

I don't quite agree. If you order coffee, it comes hot. If they gave me coffee that was sufficiently cold enough to not hurt me if I spilt it, I would be annoyed. The lesson here is simply don't put boiling water in your crotch and drive off!!
