Although its the worst forecast day of the rest of the week, saturday 4th is http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/images/symbols/fiveday_sym/3.gif

I'm looking at going for a ride somewhere, depart about 10am. Possibly Mendips or over Wales up Wye Valley and round, not too far so home in time for about 4pm. If any of the boyo's interested maybe meet Chepstow or Abergavenny for a coffee. Doubt will have enough time to get over Brecon's way.

Who's up for it?

I'm pondering the bike show on Saturday, a Sunday blat is a possibility though, assuming I've not spent all my petrol money on lots of 'bargains'.

what supermoto is it & how many is there?

Its on Yamaha WF450's They have 4 of them and all kit is provided including Tech8's so you to can walk like John Wayne! The session lasts about 30 minutes or so and is fantastic. But the places are very limited as it think they only run about 4 sessions in the morning and 4 in the afternoon, arrive early to book your place!

Sorry mate, no firm plans for tomorrow. If I go to the bike show it'll be with the Swindon lot, Bristol Cribbs is 22 miles in the wrong direction for me. Oh and keep the NOISE DOWN.

weather was good. my hands were frezzing swapped my leather gloves 4 winter ones half way on ride,but they were worse &too bulky couldnt feel anything

i felt a bit guilty as we ended up practicaly on my door step, so he had to go all the way home on his own (but i did offer a cuppa) but it was getting a bit late.

anyway thanx DR rich a great day out ...im knackerd now.

Excellent riding Hovi5 for someone not riding long, quick, safe, putting in the overtakes. All good :thumbsup:

Pleasure to meet you and ride with you :D

PS-I'm not that mad. Thing is I get a bloody good view on mine and have a lot of roll on roll off-ability for overtakes. Also it doesnt get unsettled under braking. Just a little mad, maybe :lol:

Oh and what a superb day. Beautiful now the bracken has turned on the hills. Cold by 3.30ish tho.

i did not mind seeing a car in front of us cos i thought we would slow us down for a bit BUT NO slowing down from the Dr straight round the cars

i was glad when we got a 30 mph zone so i could have a bit of a rest

still a great day was had by all
