Nice pics :)

Were you inside the roped off area to get some of those shots?

John, I'm starting to get worried about you.... The majority of those pictures are of "customs" and cruiser type things.... Is there something you haven't told us ? Is there any truth in the rumour that you have a HD soft tail in the garage

I don't get customer bikes, but you got to admire the effort put into them.

To answer the Q's

1. No I wasn't in the roped off area. I have a 12x zoom on my camera, which is a Canon S2is. Image stablisation too. damn good bit of kit.

2. A softail in the garage. Sorry Steve, not that far gone yet. I like bikes that can corner ;-) Now you mention it why are most custom bikes cruisers? As far as I'm concerned these bikes are just sculptures and works of art. You have to admire the work that goes into them

3. Is that Ed? Most probably! Darly was drawling over the 'Cumfy' bikes and I couldn't bring myself to take a photo ;-)

Strange you mention that...
I was talking to some bird there called "Mackenzie" and she was saying that even though she had her calender on sale and she had her boobs out almost every day, she barely got paid enough to cover her bills...made me think that :-k

The crashed bikes on display are in mega bad taste IMHO. Both are there to show how dangerous it is to drive too fast. One rider was said to have come off on a left hander and got run over when lying in the road (this is Richie's pic), the other overtook a car turning right and ended up in a concrete ditch and was killed.

Spectacular bad taste, I thought it was sick. Disgusting in fact.

Those hyosungs look good in the pictures. But close up they looked terriible! paint was already coming off- the welds were shocking! i had one for 18months - kept indoors - and it just fell to pieces. The paint fell off most of the frame in sheets leaving bare metal, the electrics all went wrong. The bikes looked so promising but that little bit of quality would make so much difference. did anyone else notice the finish?

Spent a fair bit of time talking to one of the sales guys on there stand
he said there spending more money than ever on R&D new paint processes and new ways to do things. there also brining out a 1000cc model next year may well test ride one just to see what its like.

did notice the paint was thin and comming away at most welds

Daimo - you need to photoshop the background out of that last pic.

I like the styling of the naked Hyosung but would prefer the Red Harley 1200 - I think would look good with dark engine and pipes. Ace.

Its nowt specialised, its a Sony Cybershot DSC-P10. But i try to make use of whatever light, and when im ouside, use the sun  One day i'll get a proper camera and do it all, i like taking pictures.

Got it as it takes videos as well so its small and handy when going out to places.

Good show, got meself some new boots, new jacket, and winter gloves with a handy little rubber wipey bit on both index fingers to get all the salt and rubbish off the ol visor in the winter. :D

Spectacular bad taste, I thought it was sick. Disgusting in fact.

I thought both bikes served as good reminders of how easily it can go wrong. Stress was put on the fact that the guy with the GSXR was considered an expert rider of many years. Ok so it was sponsered by the "Saftey camera partnership" which didn't help, but with an entire show given over to automotive porn and the idea that all bikes are perfect shiney wonderful things and that it will never rain once you've bought one, I think it's worth reminding people of these things. :?

Of course if someone gave me the new ZX6R it'd never rain again and I'd be faster than Rosssi.... My only problems would be fighting off the women wanting to sit on the back... then convincing them to stay on, our very own empty was not convinced it was all that comfey! I have some pics to follow but they're about 1600x1200 so I'm going to cut them down a bit before they get posted
