i would be up for this depending on the decided date. Thursdays are ok for me friday might be a problem depending which one it is
If this is beers and taxis are involved is Sheperd & Flock a fair mid point between you lot and us? - What was it like?
the shepherd and flock has a ridiculously small carpark and is a tiny pub with about 12 tables and as i was drinking alcohol the bar prices were expensive too other than that it was smoky but fine

A Christmas do sounds good. Must admit as I dont drink I dont really know the pubs in the Surrey/Thames Valley area, only the ones local to me in Bracknell. And these aren't worth bothering with. Unless you like your hoodies, addidas trakkies and Stella.
Only dates I can't make are 14th (work Chrimbo do) and 22nd (Iron Maiden concert)

theres one in bracknell that quite good (if you go straight from work) but gets worse as the night goes on but its cheap

Either the Red Lion by the market or The Manor by the college (the Met Office roundabout)? The Red has had a change of management, and the Manor now has a non-smoking policy, which means they are now worth visiting.
The Boot used to be pretty good (not far from me), a greasy bike pub, but that got revamped a few years ago, and now fancies itself as a trendy wine-bar type place.

another one to think about is the Golden Retreiver in crowthorne/Bracknell
No-smoking and big tables for larger groups, food is cheap and nice atmosphere, everyone can eat and be merry and warm (well if you get near one of the fire places)
only down side is i dont think you can book, or what about a good curry house ?????????????????

Thats the one i forgot i got their menu too :D i like that one its become our local even tho we have todrive to get near it
Too tired to think....Those dates are December right? I should be up for it.
The Shepherd and Flock was too small, I wasn't too impressed with it.
A curry house??? Not had good experiences with curry houses so not too keen on going to another one.

14th is a no go for me as it's my work xmas do.
Can't imagine any pub being near the town centre of Bracknell being any good. Full of under age winkers who reckon themselves. Well that's how they used to be. Plus I was barred from the Manor. The boot was nice, used to sing there a bit (karaoke) and get blind drunk and stagger home around the corner. I don't really mind where we go as long as it's warm (that's the Anchor out) and has a good atmos.
:D Me fussy?!?

Shall I throw the Worplesdon Place Hotel into the mix? Big Car Park, plenty of room inside. It's an out and out restaurant. Haven't seen their Chrismtas Menu yet.
Cool so are we looking at Wednesday the 6/thursday the 7th December then?
Worplesdon could be interesting, get a menu and post up what is on offer :D
Should be able to make most dates since my Christmas work do is on the actual day. Also not bothered about the type of food so long as there is copious amounts of beer and red wine to wash it down with. :D
