In fact, I might even leave biking for a while as I am seriously considering buying a new Mazda MX5 and just having it as a toy, much like I used my bike. Not as quick but may be fun. I will decide overer the next couple of months so my bike will be for sale for a while, unless someone buys it. I don't want to advertise it in Auto trader etc so if anyone is interested, let me know, there is no rush as it's kept in the garage.
Decision made. Time to give up biking for a while. Going to try the sports car for fun. As a result I am open to serious offers for the SV
If interested, email me.
It would appear to have a large black blob on, or close to, the pillion seat. Does that help it go around corners?
To be honest, the blob on the back was the best thing I have ever bought for a bike. It allowed me to do a bit of touring without the weight of a rucksac on my back.
Bike is still for sale and I will consider any reasonable offer.
If it is not sold by spring next year I will advertise on autotrader etc but no rush for a sale at this time. :)

Sure you don't want to part with that top box as a separate item?
I want one for, uh, a friend,
Yeah, that's right, a friend
NOW GOT ONE THANKS TO SANTA & E-BAY, ANDY
I hope to sell the bike and top box as one unless the new buyer doesn't want the box as I believe that not everyone thinks having a top box is the best accessory a bike can have
I will contact you should this occur..... cheers

pm sent :D
Due to fingers not hitting the keyboard correctly I mistakenly entered on the original post that my bike was bought in 2003, I was wrong I bought it in February 2004 so the original post has been corrected.

Where's the top box from? I take it can be removed quickly & easily?
Thanks.
It's the genuine Suzuki Top Box and yes it's very easy to remove. It's like any other box, key to remove and if you want to carry a passenger you just replace it with the seat. I liked it because it keeps the weight lower and further forward than a normal add on box. :D
Still for sale and waiting for some lucky buyer to have it.
:D :D :D
Just a little bump to keep it on page 1
is it still for sale mate?
cos im kind of interested but would like to know a few more details?
and how much you would take for it if it hasnt already been sold?
thanks
mossy

Sorry boys and girls but it is now sold, now to look at buying a nice little MX5
Forgot to mention, my bike was sold to a visitor to this site. Not advertised anywhere else. Goes to show that this is the site that people visit when they want information or buying a SV. Hope he has as much fun with it as I did. A very reliable and nice bike to own and ride.
Thank you and goodbye. :D
thanks paul, much appreciated, i must say it is in immaculate condition and ive been showing it off already, even if i cant even ride it yet! haha. been wanting one since i started riding and i noticed the new pointy, so just about 1 and a half years! but thanks for dropping it off for us and for all the extras and now i can kind of be a part of this forum for real :P lol
hope to keep in touch!
