stalling problems

Today my bike has stalled twice out of the blue .
Started bike up put kit on , pulled off & bike backfired & stalled , restarted ok then stalled again a minute later . Took for 30 mile run which was fine .

Do you recon it could be dodgy petrol , as only other thing I did was feel up my bike with petrol today .

Bike has been running great .....

The weather today was foggy however as its a pointy can't be carb icing

Just come back from work in a pea souper & bike ran fine ....

Carb icing is a misnomer, you don't need carbs to get it. My new fuel injected ER6 wouldn't idle the other morning and needed three miles before I felt confident it wouldn't stop if I let it idle. The temperature was 1 though haha
