Hi peeps, I thought I'd announce that I'm about to start my racing career.

Bikes, not cars.

I'm gonna be in a team. This is straight up!!!

Yep there are four of us in the team. It really is true!!

I can't wait! I've never raced before.

This is on a grassy/muddy track too.

On a Honda.

C90.

Yes - a stripped down C90. True!!!!! You'd hardly recognise it though, so stripped down - no front brake either - should be such a hoot!!!! Action takes place over at Sutton Coldfield. Biking buddy Karl's the captain. Just as well he knows what he's doing as I sure as hell don't.

Now i know why you borrowed the helmets and the pillion pal, i will be inspecting them for any signs of mud, cos you will almost definately b falling off, try not to get those new leather trousers dirty, bet you wish you'd bought the shoei helmet at the show now.

Daryl. :D :D :D :D

Cheer me on? A volunteer is worth 10 pressed men, I'm sure I heard Stingo say that, so you did say that you wanted to race, didn't ya????? :D

Ed, it sounds great, really. But... having done it, please understand that it's bedlam and you will (absolutely no doubt about this) come off. Probably more than once. And it hurts. So think carefully, C90s (or whatever) it maybe, but danger lurks at every corner. Best of luck though ;).

Good luck Ed, you should love it.

I've done a few club events (Enduros, grass sprints, hillclimbs etc) and I have two main objectives in competition.

1) Have a laugh
2) Try not to come last (although it doesn't matter if you do)

Good luck with the enduro???, still trying to get a C90 team going in the office but we're up to 3 and with shift work cant all be off at one time, would love to have a go at this when I first read about it a couple of years ago it seemed a hoot.

As stated, I know it's a risky business, and broken bones hurt - I've been there  Aim is to have a laugh, not to get mashed. Don't care if I'm last.
