One of my favorite CD's at the moment is Stone Sour's new one "Come What(Ever) May " I really like it five star rating listen to it at least once a day how ever I can not get on with listening to slipknot. Which do you prefere Stone Sour or Slipknot or Both.

Got all of Slipknots CDs and both Stone Sours too. Was actually at the Stone Sour gig last night in Manchester and was really pleased at how good they were live. Very polished and Corey is a great frontman, really knows how to involve the crowd.

I think it depends on what mind Im in as to what I listen to. If Im all fired up or angry etc. Heretic Anthem is usually heard blaring out the speakers. Hell and Consequences from Come What(ever) May is a current fave though too. I like the more melodic approach of Stone Sour though I have to admit, but when you want something hard and loud, Slipknot works everytime

Mind you, neither of them are a patch on KoRn - they simply rule!!

Like them both.

Try Scar Symmetry and Entwine. Another two good (although slightly finnish/swedish) bands.

Corey did a great little bit last night where he sang Bother and then kind of blended it into Through the Glass. Really cool

As you know, I am partial to a bit of Metal myself.
However, I think keithd has hit the nail on the head (albeit somewhat irreverently!)
Both of these bands are a bit of a 'Metal Cliche' imo particularly Slipnot who are just
a silly gimmick.

Where's the "These bands are good but give me Tool anyday" option?

I used to love Slipknot but don't listen much to them anymore. Stone Sour are good as well.

I tend to still have Spineshank on the stereo a bit, but I'm more into a few post-hardcore bands.

Hovi5, Tool are obviously too artistic for you then. :P
