A man who stole more than £164,000 from his employer to pay for a naked prostitute to clean his house will be sentenced today. Michael Lee, 59, watched the woman doing his housework as she wore only a pair of rubber gloves. Lee, of Shorefield Mount, Egerton, near Bolton, admitted last month to the theft of £164,124.
Bolton Crown Court heard that the company secretary raided the coffers at Alec's Three Piece Suite Warehouse in Great Lever to fund the woman's £200-an-hour services.
He falsified the company's accounts after he had already spent £20,000 of his own savings and £80,000 on credit cards.
He will be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court.

That's just up the road from me, I know of plenty of places in Bolton you could get a 'lady of negotiable affection' for much less than £200/hr HE WAS HAD

One of the things he & his team found out was that on a hourly rate, most prostitutes get paid the same rate.
So a 5min hand job in an alley, on a hourly basis, cost approximately the same as a high class escort girl with extra services.

I thought Old Town was the red light district of Swindon. It's certainly where most of the brothels are.

Manchester Road is the real red light district, well not strictly true its more of County Road/ Broad Street. Though when I went down there the other night I only saw one by the magic roundabout, must have been a busy night for them all :oops:

I think we should get Lynn on to offer an opinion on the tax implications of the brass's earnings while cleaning the house.Gordon Brown will want 40% of that surely?
£200 is a rip off for having your house cleaned.
Looking on the web you can see that some real quality escorts offer full personal services for £150 an hour.
I'd say he was mugged.
What annoys me though is that his punishment will be far more severe than for someone that causes death by dangerous driving or someone who seriously assaults someone for no reason whilst p*ssed up on the town.
