Has anyone else had problems with the camera button on this phone? Ive had to replace it before because of this problem and not its happened again!
You normally have to push down the button half way to focus then fully down to take a pic, but on my last 810i when you pushed it right down, nothing happened, so you couldnt take pics. I sent that one back to orange for a replacement but had to pay a £15 excess!
Ive had this new one for a good few months now and the same thing has just happened!!

Has anyone else with this phone had a similar problem???

Why didn't you just use the manufacturers warranty?

I've had one since they came out and it's been a terrific phone. Use it for playing MP3's in the car, and the camera's not that bad either....

Maybe you're a little too "forceful" with it... Try "stroking" the keys, not punching them

i find it really annoying that you have to turn the phone to file transfer mode, not being able to take calls when you need to access your memory card via usb, unlike the 750i.

never had a problem with the button, but the lack of lense cover is annoying.

Probably dust under it. My w810 has been fine but my mate had to strip his w800 and clean the dust out from it.

My Girlfriends had one since release date and has so far sent it back about 5 times. twice the speaker blew up, twice the screen died and now the volume won't adjust.

Everything so far has been free of charge though and she'd been given a crappy rental phone while hers was fixed.

Mine's been dropped, kicked, run over (wife did that) and exposed to a lot of water, but it's still fine.

I just take the card out to transfer files via a card reader...

I got a driver today, it was a T6 that fits it. I took the four screws out under the battery cover but nothing is moving :?
Anyone know how this cover is taken off :?:

The scroll button has failed on mine. Phs being replaced under warranty/insurance tomorrow. Great little device though.
