Alreet.... here we go again  . Skip if easily bored

Now peeps may or may not remember the time I nominated myself for pilloock of the year but anyways to refresh your memmory link below :)

So I'm thinking, I don't think I'm going to win this  and a few days ago I thought I'd stake my claim for wally of the year as well :? .

It all started from Thursday. For one reason or another I didn't/couldn't go to sleep on Thursday night. By the time I felt i might just be able to get some, I decided it wasn't such a good idea anymore. Reason being I quite like my sleep and there was a fair chance I would hear the alarms going off. Only thing to do was to stay up  till it was time to go to work.

Okay.. we are doing okay so far. Kept myself busy doing stuff until I was ready to check bike over etc ready for the days use. Usually I'll give myself about half an hour or a bit more depending on what needs checking/doing .
Job done and should still have plenty of time before leaving so I'm chilled. Well, I was chilled untill I looked at the clock and went jeez, I'm running late. How the feck did that happen.

Luckily I always fill the tank up on my way back so a case of leathers on and away we go. Fingers crossed know I would need to make very good progress

Down to my first pick up(Bank) and no delays. Good start there but still got a lot of catching up to do time wise so no ciggie breaks. Just full steam ahead.

Next stop. Boll*x, not ready. Got told someone is just going up to get it. Grrr.. I just don't need this. Five mins elapsed and helloooo, where is my bag. It's just coming. FFS I mutter to myself(Lack of sleep making me unsually irritable with them). Anothermaybe three mins and I inform them that I'll be leaving in the next min if it's not here. Not pleasednot happy at all. I'm feeling sort of stressed now.
Lady brings bag down and asks if I was earlier than normal(pretty sure). My reply trying to be as calm as possible was that I wasn't. Infact I was late. She asks about somethinmg else but at this point I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Got others to pick up you see.

Out of there and carry on making extremely good progress. Picked up all I had to, dropped off at the depot. Back on the bike still needing to be back at Mitcham at a certain time so loud horn is getting a good work out.

Got to Mitcham and surprised the bank was still open. Bleeding Mary I thought, that's not right :? . I know I was emm... making good progress but it couldn't have been that good. I checked the closing times(on door) and yep, still hadn't changed. Hmm.. we better go in anyways. Walked in and the staff looked at me wide eyed as in WTF are you doing here. Looked at the clock on the wall and could only ask 'Is that the right time?'

Yes my good people, I had only gone and started an hour or a bit less early and had really been making pointless good progress. Oh well..

Then bang I now recall I had not been happy with the first branch for keeping me waiting even though I had been late arriving(not so of course) for the pickup #-o . Funny thing was every other branch were all ready for me so all seemed normal till I got to Mitcham.
You fecking wally I thought to myself. The branch I was not happy with was next and I would of course need to let the lady know I was indeed early the first time I was around. Apart from feeling a bit of a wally, I felt bad for making sure they knew that I was not happy at all with them not doing their job on time. I'm usually relaxed with all my branches(got them trained proper like  ). I hate having to get them to sign for waiting times and works better for everyone overall IMO.

...and so because I'm such a Sweetie  I stopped at a shop and bought a big box of chocalate for them. Arrived, asked to speak to one of the ladies I saw in the morning and explained why I had bit a bit irritable and the cause, blah blah blah and box of chocalate handed over.

I really couldn't believe it. I checked the clock when I got back and the time was correct so how the feck I thought I was an hour later than it should be I haven't a clue.

That's all. A bit long and all that I know but I guess I'm just not a two minute guy :P .

Cheers

:laughat: Great story. Ive suffered from this kind of problem when not getting any sleep either and it really does baffle the old grey matter how you could be so sure of one fact for so long and just not check it.
I find getting even an hours sleep helps me no end and even "micro naps" help too.

Bloody nice gesture with the choclates tho mate. One of the ladies at that branch a bit tasty then is she? ;)

I resent that remark, some of my branch colleagues with whom I committed professional misconduct were very nice :)

If your run's anything like my group, you've probably spent an awful lot of time waiting for pickups anyway, today Ben gets his accidental revenge :)
