How about joining the SoHo Massive on the 15th December in London?????

depended on transport (so location isn't a problem) I might be up for this (can't do stairs either).

Cheers Mark.

6th is good for me as well. I'll leave the venue decision in the capable hands of people who actually care where. ;)

No reason why people can't attend both SoHo and Guildford if they want, plus it gives people the chance to attend one if they can't attend the other.

Mark, if you're going and need transport I would be perfectly happy to give you a lift there and back.

:-dd

Yer I think like Law said this gives people an oppotunity if a certain date isnt available plus not all can make it into London and vice versa

Now the only venue that means anything to me is the Anchor - so I will abstain from voting and go with the majority

The same goes for me really....

Are any of these within staggering distance of a train station? Driving/Riding to a Xmas party seems like madness to me!!

Regarding the party - a suggestion if I may.

I noticed the guys with the funny accents up north are going karting - and thought it maybe an idea if you guys are up for doing something active. Maybe karting as well, or bowling or something along those lines for a christmas get together???

If not - anyone want to do something like this anyways?

Theres a karting place near us that Dan has been to before that could be quite good.

Bowling wise the point in bracknell is good and has pizza hut next door

So are we scrapping the sit down meal and going bowling/karting instead?

Ditto, what's the plan? :?

much as my criteria for attendance is somewhat tight, Gary volunteering to be my taxi and on provision no stairs were involved I could manage sitting down, however not to be a kill joy or anything, karting or bowling is a little beyond me at this stage.

Although not considering myself a real part of your group, but perhaps an affiliate, I wouldn't want to disrupt others plans, and could be having a bad day anyway, so even if everything was to my criteria, I couldn't guarantee attendance, but had hoped to make it.

Cheers Mark

someone else can make that decision

In my most humble opinion I think we should keep it simple to avoid people not being able to afford or attend. So a meal and lots of alcohol would be my preference. As for venue I don't mind where we have to be honest, it's the people who make it great not the venue. And I can make any date in Dec barring the 9th, 14th and 16th.

Well it's funny. Although we've spent a fortune on the wedding we have got so much cash from people and now that we don't have to save for the wedding anymore we're now better off! Until we decide to buy a house of course! The 6th sounds grand, I will be there!
