Hi All,
Just registered so thought I should say hello. Been an SV650 owner for about 6 weeks now and am a very happy chappie. :) Done the oil, oil filter, air filter, coolant and plugs as it was due a service when I got it. Change of brake fluids and checking valve clearances are on the cards but haven't quite got round to them yet! (I may have a loose headset so might be back to ask questions abvout this later?!)
Assuming I've figured out the upload successfully there should be a pic of my 2000 model curvy 650 below. 10k miles. Running beautifully and putting big smiles on my face. :D
Great forum guys. Already pillaged it for tips on sorting out a wet/non-firing front cylinder and the fitting of a fenda extender plus the liberal application of silicone grease seems to have remedied the problem.
Anyway.... is virtual bar the tradition here? If so my card's behind it. Fill yer boots!

Hi Strobart, and welcome from another relative newbie.
Nice curvy bike you've got there, but you seem to be missing a fairing, and it really should be a bit bluer to get maximum performance.
Whereabouts are you in Londinium?

Thanks for all the welcomes! Apologies for the lack of plastic ;) .... 1st use is for commuting so I wanted naked for upright view and not having to worry about picking up scratches on the plastic. I did test an SVS though and 'twas lovely!
Whereabout in London am I: out near Uxbridge, just off the A40.
Crash bungs: I have fitted them since taking that pic however I got DHMs and have heard since that I should have got R & G. :( Ho hum, too late now!
Errm.... pardon my ignorance but can someone enlighten me as to the comments about Frith Street?
