Seeing that barrington smith is no longer in the picture, and i haven't given my bike a good serivce for a while. I thought i'd get it a nice winter service (and it's done 32k now so a full service is at hand).

Who do you guys use in London (in north london)?

Cheers!

I use Chasbikes down near Waterloo Station and they are really good - they can always fit you in and can usually get any job done the same day you take the bike in with no advanced booking needed. Also the guy in charge is a really friendly, helpful guy who doesnt do the classic 'ooooh thats gonna be expenisve' kind of look that most mechanics tend to give me when I take a bike in to be serviced! Even better - they are open all day saturday and sunday, so its no problem getting the bike in if you work monday-friday. Their number is 020 7261 9795 and they are right next to Southwark tube station.

no probs mate - I know how hard it is finding a reliable garage having had quite a few bad experiences!

Let us know what you reckon of them - most people I have chatted to there picking their bikes up seem pretty happy so I dont think its just me that is impressed with their service 8)

Will do.
Will probably give them a call at the end of this month and see what they say.

If i go through with it, i will post an update here on what i thought about the serivce.

Tried them out (im a bit late posting the reply, but matey at work wanted to know about them).

They are okay, and not to expensive. I would use them again for the SV
