Hey guys, been awhile :P
Lots of things going on here, had a bit of a not feeling myself thing resently and just fed up of London so beginning of the week I handed in my notice, working till end of Jan and then I'm out of London, back in Shrewsbury and having some time off and prob going to go traveling :)
Going to be fun! I'm also going to try and get to a soho / guildford meet before i go aswell :)
Hope all has been well on here!
Leon
Good luck, hope it all works out for you.
'twill be good to see you back :D
My riding has got alot worse (legally that is) due to 5 months of london commuting, cant wait to get back onto country lanes, i can barly go round a corner anymore (but i can squeeze through that gap at 50 :P)

Dont forget you can do more than 30mph outside of London now... some roads even allow you to go over 60...

In London, you're not allowed to do under 30 on a bike - even when filtering though a gap 2mm wider than your mirrors, else you'll have a queue of impatient couriers and commuters behind you.
I don't blame you for wanting to move out of London back to countryside. I'd love to myself, but that means finding a job elsewhere and my skills are fairly specialised.
Good Luck - see you before you go.
North? Shrewsbury??? Thats still too far south to be considered north!! ;) :D
=D> well done  good luck
Ah My Abyss, long time no see. Wow thats a big move but I can see why, should be excellent taking in twisty country roads.
Def. take in a guildford meet as well, we have a christmas do coming up soon so if your still around at the middle of the december or before and try and pop in.
All the best mate

Mate, anything north of Watford IS north. The accent changes and everthing when you pass that bit.
Anyhoo, fair play for realising London aint for you. SOme people come here and hate it but get stuck and dont leave.
Its like a wierd kind of cesspoll/quickand mixture i guess.
Enjoy your travelling if you get to it :D

Good luck with the move and travelling.
The North starts at the Yorkshire border but you're definitely heading in the right direction... I left London 34 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment. As far as I can see the reasons for staying in London are that it's easier to get a job and the reasons for staying are some of the facilities. The only thing I miss is cultural stuff but the occasional visit helps deal with that. I was down there last weekend and could not believe how busy it was, particularly the Underground at all times.
Best bit was a trip on the bike rickshaws (what are they really called?) - great illusion of speed -my wife had her eyes firmly closed. Mind you, she was screaming 25 years ago when she got on the back of my bike and I hadn't even turned the engine on
You'll av to let us know when you are back so that we can re-aquaint you with decent bikin roads and pubs with sloping parking areas,   . i'll get nic to come with us next time as she needs a good laugh.
daryl.

Ouch!!! Abyss, I'm sorry - but that little incident was very funny
Live and learn, it would of happened at some point before i realised my mistake :)
