I can vouch for this bike :) Its a fantastic bike, handles really well, better than the 650 because of its low seat height. And as its restricted (like mine) it is just as fast on the straights :shock: and those exhausts sound mean :twisted:
Ideal if you are just starting out and a cracker of a price :thumbsup:

i have owned this bike for about 5 months the only reason i got it was just a stepping stone from my cbr125 to this then in january im getting my gsxr600 k6 so thats the reason why im selling it, it is a very quick bike for a 400 restricted i done knockhill in 1 min 20 but i did have the old chain and sprocket on it and they were that bad i broke the teeth so new chain and sprocket went on i also forgot to mention it had its fork oil changed as well when i got it and a new clutch cable.

so tbh with all its had done to it i think £1500 is a reasonable price.

its the same physical size as the sv650s curvy so all the 1999 curvy parts fit this, so for parts its super cheap and loads around insuarnce is cheap as well its a group 8 or 9 i think.

cheers darren, i will fish out some photo's of my exhust's tomorrow and post them i dont have any recent unfortunutly cause camera no working but as i said anyone is welcome to veiw if interested.

right i got another camera so here is some picys....and the other day i took all my fairings off and gave them a good old clean and so i can give them a wee touch up wee chip here and there, but tonight i was taught how to put my bike on rear padock stand and while it was there i took off the back wheel and grant cleaned that while me and eilidh (blaze) got right into the shock and inside swing arm and got the under tray looking all shiny

then i cleaned me chain and lubed it, then put everything all back together and the back end looks like new. I also got a new screen from scot factors and it looks the same as old one with out the tape lol.

I fitted rear indicators looks really nice i will post a picy for ya!

I managed to get bike down of the rear padock stand as well so im happy with tonights progress all there is left to do is get the engine area all pritty and clean and do my oil and oil filter change, me thinks a job for tomorrow, i am gonna do front indicators when my spacers get delivered to scotfactors and that will be my bike all pritty and ready for its next owner

Maybe worth a wee mention, I used to have a set of those Kenz Sport cans on the 650... Sold them for, count 'em, £575 :) They're very nicely made, sound superb, not much good for power but then if you're after power you don't buy twins anyway. Way better than Renegades.
