Hi all,

Now the proud owner of a Remus can (thanks svnutta!) and I am sure somewhere on this site is a fitting guide with pics.

Had a quick search and can't find it.

Did I imagine it? Has someone got a link please. If not on the forum then elsewhere.

Thanks

G

try the exhaust section, failing that chop the old one off and fit the new :D

So, no help there then

I have been through all seven pages of the exhaust section. I thought it was a sticky at some point but I may be wrong.

I am assuming it is slightly more technical than just chopping one off and fitting the new one, especially for someone like me for whom changing a headlight bulb is a major operation.....

Thanks

what sv u got pointy or curvey? with a pointy you cut the exhaust 50mm past the weld under the footpeg, this is where the link pipe fits, then put the can on and the strap around the can, bolt it to the foot peg, throw the baffle away, jobs a good'un.
heres the last one i did-

Hiya,

Its a curvy.

Seems a bit, well, final to slice through your exhaust though....

I see that loads of you have done it so I will let you know how we get on....

I admit, it probably won't be me doing it, but a friend of mine who is more mechanically minded.

the exhaust pipe you are cutting is thicker than you think  if you are doing it by hacksaw have plenty of good blades handy.good luck
