But it's OK, I fixed it again!
Replaced my clutch lever this morning.
Absolute b*tch as the replacement handle didn't fit very well & ended up whittling it down with a pruning knife.
Took most of the lever system apart trying to get it to fit.
Eventually did, put it all back together, turned bike on, hit starter....nada, zipo, ziltch. Headlight did dim, but nothing else.:shock: :cry:
Couldn't work out what on earth the problem was, thought it must be the clutch switch, so took it all apart, working OK, lever moving the switch.
So put it back together again.
Nothing, getting quite frustrated at this point :evil:
Thinking about bodging it and making a false connection across the switch.
Then, with clutch out, bike starts. Little bit of head scratching (I hadn't had my shredded wheat at this point).
Yes, I'd put the switch back in the wrong way round. :oops:
I blame Suzuki, who makes a switch that can go either way round, honestly
