de-snorkel K&N

i just won a stage 1&3 dynojet kit and K&N filter all new for £34. bargain!! i was just wondering if it is worth desnorkeling the k&n or drilling holes in the top of the plastic for more induction noise. is it worth it and are there any down sides.

damn it i was going to get that. completely forgot about that auction. damn damn damn. not a bad price that. you would be better off desnorkeling it to be honest. thats what i was going to do
