Thats ok! I think my dad is paying something like 150 or 200 fully comp on his gsxr750. The guy who sold me the insurance said when im over 21, and with a years no-claims the price will drop
Might even afford fully comp then...
Maybe not
Still, im happy.
Now, gotta get that tax sorted..

Assuming you stay on your bike for a year. Theres a reason insurance for yougsters is expensive. Stats an all that.
I can now insure two bikes FC, a gsxr600 and fjr1300 for £300 less than i insured my 125 on L plates.
have you tried suzuki
I knew that there was at least one advantage to being old, hope this is not the only one.
Have fun and enjoy the bike! :D

for a new rider thats sounds about right i think.
Try http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/ these guys when you have some no claims as they can either be MUCH cheaper than the others or about the same. Worth a try when the time comes tho. My renewal with 1yrs NCB was £500 odd with Carol Nash and with these guys it was £287!!!

Does sound about right for a new rider, I was going to be slightly less than £400 when I had 1 NCB and was 21. Now 22 with 2NCB, I can get TPFT for around the £187 mark and that was my renewal .I haven't bartered with them yet.

19 years old, 1 year ncb, 1 accident -fault, got my insurance this year for 480 quid which includes breakdown cover, legal cover, and personal accident cover (even if just fall off and its just my fault)
Last year i paid £320 fully comp, 0NCB, 0 years riding experience
Renewal Quote this year £180.
Went shopping on t'internet and got it for £146 1year NCB, Result.
That also came with: breakdown cover home and abroard, £100,000 legal cover and if i have an accident and im not at fault all my kits covered :D
Might have something to do with my age
21 y/o and 191 months

i will refuse to be insured with rampdale again ever, when i had my accidne tthey didnt keep me informed of anything, then i had to ring continuly to find out whos at fault, to be told that im not at fault, reinsure bike with new company, no claims comes through with just one year on it, not three, so i ring up to find out they gave me wrong info, so to be honest i was riding around for a few weeks with invalid insurance through no fault of my own

LOL seems I could have got a better deal
But I have been with carol nash before, and they helped me out alot when I had an accident - I dont mind paying more since I get a very good service.
Im still dead chuffed with what I paid :D
