View Full Version : K2 rear brake master cylinder.
I topped up the brake cylinders at the weekend. I found that the rear brake master cylinder cover screws were difficult to get at with a normal screwdriver - had to strain the rear tidy plastic a bit. Is there a tool to do this without having to fiddle about?

Could try an offset screwdriver, but the manual reccomends taking the panel off.

I've been trying to get a ratchet ring spanner small enough to take a screwdriver bit - no success so far. Taking the whole panel off to top up sounds a bit drastic to me

Teng Tools do a nice set like that, but it's about £25. Maplin and Homebase both sell a rightangle screwdriver that'd be ideal.

Cheers Norfie,
I'll check the right angle screwdriver out. I have actally got one with a flat blade at each end - typical! :o) I was contemplating getting a normal one red hot and bending it in a vice if all else failed.

I use a long screwdriver and bend the plastic ever so slightly. Youll also find that the master cylinder flexes on its mount.
