Ok. Let me start off with, I've searched the forums through all the cam tensioner threads. Mind you this still may be my cam tensioner, i just need to know for sure if i'm going to keep riding it to see if the tentioner fixes itself.
A week ago i was hearing a high pitched ting ting ting ting, coming from only the right side of the rear cylinder. (seems to be coming from the side of the cylinder head.)
Today after a ride, the noise has morphed into a deeper thud thud thud thud. Same pace as before, same place too.
So the question: Are the cams on the right side of the engine?
Why has the noise changed?
Do I ride if for a while and see if it fixes itself, or spend the time ripping out the tensioners? (forums seem to have a bit of debate on this, i just dont want to hurt my baby)
