Just wondering how much these (or an SV1000SZ as its worded in the advert) were new, and if the 'Z' means anything in particular?

Thanks :)

streetbike in halesowen have a sv1000sz for £6499.00, but george white do the sv1000s for £4999.00 + OTR = about £5200.00 and you get free delivery. i was going to buy from george white but they didnt have a colour bike i wanted so i had a used silver k3.

OK thanks. There's an 05-plate 1000SZ for circa £4k with 6,000 miles, just wondering if thats a good price (not for me, mind - wish I could afford that thou!).

Whats the difference between an S and SZ?

look at coddy's bike for sale in the for sale section thats a sz its in the gixer colours (blue and white)
£4000 is a good price for the one you have seen but if you thinking about buying it have a look at coddys first its a minter, i was close to buying it but it was abit to far to travel for me.

I think I paid about £5400 for my SV1000S 2 1/2 years ago

SZ was a 'limited edition' in pseudo-gixxer colours, with a few minor engine tweaks to give it a few extra ponies I think.

Not worth paying the extra for a new SZ IMHO however if you can find a decent used one (e.g. Coddy's  ) then go for it.
