It went pop this evening, not the biggest of problems you might think ?
but I can't use my laptop now and have had to drag myself up 4 flights of stairs to configure a modem on a desktop for the time being.
I got another from EBay that's local, so I'll be chasing someone to collect it for me.
Cheers Mark.

Bugger. I'm only down the road as well, if you need a pickup.
Although, I don't have any DSL routers though. :(

I'm in Sutton - could pick it up tonight and drop it round if you need
Otherwise I've got a spare Wireless ADSL router you could have - the wireless thingy in it doesn't work anymore, but it's got 4 ethernet ports on the back so is OK if you don't mind cables
cheers

The toadster came through and dropped off the new router last night, all up and running once again, I'm back in the front room on the wireless laptop so no more stairs to get online :D
Cheers Mark.
