Just going through my photos and found this one from when I visited the lake district, I like the grey colour of the background.

On a trip to the Pyrenees we stayed in this exclusive hotel with solar heated swimming pool. We didn't go for a swim

I think some of the the Italian Job was actually filmed there, it got something like 60 hairpins on it, I would love to ride it one day.
Great pics furkuk

Same trip, different mountain, better photo. Invergarry, Scotland.
Just look at the crash barrier in the foreground. Makes you hone your cornering skills

Is that still the Stelvio Pass? It looks stunning!!
No, it's just one of many passes that you have to cross to get to Stelvio.
It is well worth a visit.
I have done a few trips in the last 6 years including the Pyrenees and Cantabrian Mountains and obviously Stelvio.
Regarding Stelvio, the passes are awesome as soon as you reach Switzerland.
I am hoping to return in a couple of years but this time in a Mazda MX5
This one is from 2002 when a group of us visited Spain and Andorra. We stayed in a complex in Ainsa and this was the view from our room.
