Oh look! A link that isn't eighteen miles long, perhaps I'll remember to do this myself next time. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-THERMAL-WARM-KNEES-S-VFR750-VFR800-DEAUVILLE_W0QQitemZ200057697006QQihZ010QQcategoryZ 122233QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

What's the point, can't say with biking trousers & armour that I have ever had cold knees.

:winner:

Perhaps your location gives it away. Deffo had cold knees (amongst other bits  ) on the bike in this neck of the woods. (Even with armour over them)

It's true what they say- It's grim up North.

Cheers,

Garry

some stupid people don't wear armour.
Many would describe me as stupid, but I do wear armour and still sometimes get cold knees.

Wasn't directed at you mate, just the kind of people you see see wearing work type trousers doing 50 in rush hour traffic. :?

I hate the cold knees when you've been riding on those 'white' days, doesn't really help that I suffer with my knees anyway.

But about the link, don't Lidl do these things for £2 or something daft during their periodic bike stuff sale (along with their w*nk disc locks and not so w*nk tankbags)??

Not sure, but they do their weekly specials and every now and then they do a fair amount of bike stuff. Admittedly, its not the best bike stuff in the world but some of it is ok. Just keep an eye on the Lidl website for their upcoming specials - or watch Idle Banter as there are always thousands of posts when Lidl or Aldi are doing it.

I often get cold knees, but then these cut off jeans perhaps aren't the best thing to wear for this time of year.

Kidding.... but I did get cold knees, until I made my own fashion statement... i now wear some VERY sexy footless leg warmers under my leathers. So then my boots still fit, but my legs are toastie! :)

In the cold my knees ache quite badly. Sometimes I have to limp for a bit when I get to work!

Thermal long johns under your leathers! Not very sexy, but effective. I used to wear oversized quilted textiles over my leathers as well, when I was a hardy year round type. Kept me warm and dry, only had cold toes then :( When I had a crash in them, my leathers underneath saved my @rse (and my knees, elboows, fore arms etc).

I know, was just making the point that I get cold even with armour on. It probably sounded a little curt because of the time I posted (I had already been at work for 20 minutes)

Easy cure for that - just get someone to give you a good spanking when you get off the bike :)

No need to invest in any thermal ware or nuffink

As you can see by my avator.... to spank that after a ride would kill! red raw ! :)
