OK well, basic story, commuting in this morning, the car in front of me threw up a chunk of MDF right in front of my eyes  Not really the drivers fault, but sill, not a nice thing at motorway speeds.
Tried my best to avoid it, but given the speed of everything, and the gusting wind, the MDF hit my right fork, luckily, and then reflected away missing my leg etc.
So I pulled over to make sure nothing had been damaged, and couldn't see much. The right fork LOOKED to have some scratch marks on it, but later these appear to of been washed off  Just light scuffs at best then.
The potential problem, is should the SV have a line, going from the front axel, down to the bottom of the fork? This is only present on the right fork (as you sit on the bike), and it looks DAMN straight to be a crack, but better safe than sorry ;)
If someone tells me it is a crack, I might even consider the GSXR swap ;) but I doubt it is. If needed, I can get a photo of it.
Can anyone think of anything else I might want to check after the impact this morning (handling inc whilst swerving hard, seems fine).
