Anyone heard of this before?

I think it's supposed to be invisible in the day time but reflective at night? Not sure where you'd stick it without panniers on other than writing rude messages on the back of your helmet.

It does work. I have black scotchlite piping all over my textiles. Works a treat- look black/matt dark grey by day, bright "hi vis" style reflective white by night. I only noticed quite how much of it was high vis when I photographed the jacket with the flash on.

"Technically" :roll: you shouldn't have white reflective showing on the rear of a vehicle, but you can on your clothing.

Any light on the rear of a vehicle, and that includes reflective surfaces, must show red to the rear except for the likes of "long vehicle" signs etc.

Reflective stuff really is a life saver, I've seen quite a few people broken down at the side of motorways recently and the hi-vis stuff really shows up, I think we should go the way of some other countries and make carrying reflective coats/waistcoats in vehicles compulsory for use in emergency (breakdowns etc). Just a thought....... :idea:

I agree, I was in Spain recently and was very surprised to find the law states that a warning triangle must be deployed and high-vis vest be worn when you break down etc.

Very sensible idea. (I see that most HGV drivers are wearing them now here)

Spain: I think you need TWO warning triangles and a hi-vis jacket for every car occupant.

I have a high vis vest under the seat with this in mind (and if caught in fog/heavy rain etc etc).
