For one reason or another I am not riding on christmas day where I intended to be, mainly due to a lack of saving up

Instead, I am taking christmas dinner in this probably more salubrious but less exotic location

C'est la vie, some you win some you lose etc.
HOWEVER, as I do not have to depart for the riviera until about 12.30 I am DETERMINED to ride for an hour on christmas day, something I have never done.
So anyone want to join me on this most stupid of ventures, weather permis? Probably run up and down Wye Valley or Mendips, depart 9.30am Cribbs. I need to be back home by 11.30.

Up till last year I had ridden, sailed or played golf on New Years morning--------just as mad
Sounds daft enough for me to join, weather permitting... I refuse to ride the bike in a tornado or pea soup fog.
At that time the sun should not be blinding either over the Wye Valley either
Yes, the whole of the afternoon seems a problem at the moment. My intended route is up valley and back over top. About 1 hour.
Keep the battery charged and the spririts up when your sat there thinking I'd rather be on the bike.
my god I wonder how many will actually attend this run???

I wonder how many wives/husbands would be happy. My wife would go nuts if i went :smt076 :smt074
I'm cooking for the outlaws this year, gotta house full :(
Although it does sound very tempting to go awol for a few days....i mean hours

Next christmas maybe... but I expect something else will come up to get in the way
I ended up up a muddy lane on christmas morning. EVen the roads were very slippery. Beenz was in the best place tucked up in his bed :smt015
