This caught me by surprise... A major government agency doing something nice, for no reason at all, for bikers... OK, so they're not riding very fast, but that's not the point - someone in government can see the appeal!

Bealach Na Ba looks like a damn nice technical ride.

Other than that, the videos don't show anything spectacularly wonderful, except a distinct lack of traffic.

Maybe they should use those videos (including the low quality bits) as part of the hazard perception specifically for bikers. A couple of those videos are teaming with sheep!

noticed how the speedo on the bike never shows more than 59MPH? Despite an open road and little or no traffic. Just a tasteful fade to another shot as speed climbs.

I like the way there vista program uses a sv1000 for the sv650, and it's still got the dealers tag on the mirror stem.

Something nice for free from them? I'd not be so generous...

See the top right hand corner? Advert for the DVLA's money making (not to mention hypocritical, as it encourage disguising letters as numbers and visa versa) personalised plates service. :)

See you can have fun without breaking the speed limit... is that the subliminal message?

I could have sworn the rev counter was broken on some of those videos, almost like they were coasting around

still nice to see dvla hosting bike videos... lets see if they'll host Ghostriders old stuff :)

Stop whinging! It comes from their personalised reg site, so of course it's gonna have the odd logo in it. And they specifically forbid the disguising of letters, and encourage you not to purchase if that's your intention.

Honestly, some people - gift horse & teeth spring to mind? They could have featured some Ford Fiestas driving carefully with a sanctimonious message about speeding, but they didn't, so just enjoy it!!

I like it too. Luckily I'm not a desk jockey most of the time, but if I was I reckon this could remove some stress!

Some of the lines through twisties are pretty poor

I think personalised plates are for folks with more £ than sense. Pure vanity.

the rider is watching the speedo more than the road....hes all over the place at times and it never goes over 60mph!

ok as far as speed goes they are promoting safe riding....but when you watch his line as he is at 60 he all over the road.....mmm...not happy!
