Had it from new, regularly serviced, very clean. Runs beautifully. 19k miles. Based in London, SE4.

I'll post some pictures and more details when I'm back at home.

Great bike, will miss it v much.

Need the cash quickly since my boss stiffed me on the Xmas Bonus.[/b]

OK, I realise it's not the time of year to buy or sell, but I really need to shift my bike.

I'm asking just £1250 (NO OFFERS) for the next 2 weeks only. If anyone has the cash around it's a massive bargain - even if you take it just for spares. I'll even be approaching the dreaded dealers as they will probably offer at least this poultry amount.

There is NOTHING wrong with my SV (might actually get round to uploading the pics to prove it), FSH, good tyres, new chain (no sprockets required because I ride it like a pussy (cat)), it's had no dodgy mods, runs great, very clean, not thrashed, NEVER wheelied - I just need the cheese/dosh/spondoolies.

Would be a perfect first (big) bike/winter bike/toy.

If no-one wants it then I'll hang on to it since I still love it and know it's worth more than just over a grand.

Looks like a nice bike at that price.Being a two SV household I can't buy another, but you should get £1250 for it.Does it have an MOT and is there any damage on it?Looks to be in good nick from the pics.

I'm really tempted, but really can't justify 2,

now if the gf had her license I'd be pm'ing you. As it stands, she's too worried about applying for jobs and exams to get a liscence.

Good luck.

Cheers for the posts guys.

Exhaustive list of damage to my bike:
v small ciggy burn in riders seat - I've glued it and it's not ripped or getting any bigger
tiny chip in tank - about 2mm across - it's been touched up
some paint has flaked from the engine block - about 5cm square, you can see it on the first picture if you make it big.
2 v small spots of paint removed from the front left fairing - this happened while it was parked and I suspect my nob of a nextdoor neighbour was trying to park his w@nky Range Rover but I have no proof!

...that's it. Everything else is mint for a 4 year old bike with 19k miles. As I say, I've spent at least every other weekend checking it over and cleaning it.

I did slip over on it once - patch of deisel or something - doing about 5mph round a corner on the King's Road, v embarrasing. However, such is the genius of the SV design, there was only a grazed bar end and a new gear-change to replace.

hi mate - I'm in the market for a new bike at the mo and your bike looks very tempting, especially as I'm in London too so I could easily pop over and take a closer look. I could possibly come view this weekend, I'm getting paid either tomorrow or early next week so will have the cash available very soon. I am usually home from work by 5pm so if I cant view this weekend I can easily come over to view in the evening during next week. I take it it is ok to test ride if I leave you the cash & my driving licence? What is your nearest tube / train station?

Hi everyone, thanks for your interest but my SV was sold today. Sorry to see it go (pretty cheaply) but needs must. MattyL grabs himslef a bargain.

Mustn't grumble though - thanks mattyl for a quick and easy sale, top bloke.

Is it blasphemy to mention ducati on this site - I think I'll just post this pic and see if I get told off.
