Kilted Ginger

Too all of you who ride in Edinburgh (and probably Glasgow) everyday.
Nipped in this morning to pick up things at a couple of city centre shops and then the gyle and boy is that fun. Whacky races forever. Don't get me wrong, I loved every second of it, filtering, weaving, laughing at irate cagers, bullying my way into spaces that weren't really there, skittering about on the wet cobbles, taking full advantage of the cycle lanes  stopping right outside shops and nipping in, brilliant but having seen the level of sheer incompetence and aggressive impatience of some of the drivers I really would not like to do it every day. So hats off to all of you who do. Stay safe! The roads are clarty, slippy and full of cagers so be carefull out there.
This was my first outing in about 11 days as all the roads around the house have either been flooded or iced over for the past wee while, struggled to get the car to the main road never mind the bike, its not the falling off that worries me but the repair bill after it.
