The money is going towards building myself a new computer once Ive decided what motherboard to get, and if its even available yet.... damn it all.. theres far too many CPU's to chose from these days! :lol:

So far, my shopping list is made up of:
Gigabyte 650i based SLI mobo..
E6600 Core 2 Duo
1Gb RAM (2x512) for now.. with another 1Gb to be added at a later date...
7950GT graphics card... again, one of for now.. possibly a second when they come down in price...

Ahh... I can remember what I posted in this one:

I got some clothes from my Mum (who after 36 year is starting to get the hang of what I'll wear, though not what size I am).
I got a hamper of food from my Dad (who says that he's seen more meat on a sparrow).
And I got some money from the both of them that has helped pay for this :smt024 my nice shiny new Compaq C310 with which I'm posting this from my sofa. 8)

It's a business tool really - honest - it's purely incidental that I can now browse the net, play Civ (badly as ever) and watch DVD's from the comfort of my featherfilled duvet. 8)

I also got some booze, a book and a weekend of being pampered to heaven and back from my best friend...

... who obviously had exactly the same gift from her husband so she could keep me company. :wink:
