Managed to forget to give my (adult) nephews all their presents when they came over on Christmas Eve so had  mercy dash (20 mile round trip) at lunch today on the bike. I think my wife suspected my forgetfulness might have been deliberate... New red scarf has now been satisfactorily speed tested!
Most enjoyable with so little traffic
Went out for a ride myself today. Lovely empty roads. Have to say though, that didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted. The roads are extremely slippy round this way at the moment.

I've been drunk for most of today, so no chance of going out on the bike.
Tomorrow the family tour starts; Swindon-Teignmouth first, then Teignmouth-Lymington then back again a day before NYE.
