Anyone else in work today ?
I've been here half an hour and I'm bored already.

My colleague who should be covering with me is "working from home" (skiving get).

Been here since 6:00.
Eaten a Boots meal deal, pinched a pile of bin bags from the cleaner and put my junk in the skip.
And if one more pilot says merry christmas he's going to find himself going via calcutta.

TBH I'm just glad to get back to normal, I used up all my holiday in the summer when it was warm doing stuff on my bike and TBH I'd rather have the time off in the summer when its warm rather than at this time of year anyway.

I'm only in today, then off again until the 2nd of Jan.

I was planning (and looking forward to) doing something about the rust on the SV's starter motor tomorrow. (I easily pleased me :wink: )

Yup, I'm in. Been pretty stuffed that last week with a cruddy cold, feeling better now though, just in time to get back to work. Lots to do to catch up from last week.

At least I'm looking forward to taking more days off when I can be enjoying being on the bike in the spring.

Hope you get it sorted quickly, mine went bang some weeks ago, took them a week to fix it. Can live without the heating (unless the pipes freez) but no hot water for a week was a nightmare.

yep me too!!!!! Been ere since 0800.. bored rigid. Hopefully we'll draw straws to send 1 of us home!! 6 of us in and only enough work for about 2 people!! Oh well..plenty to read on the forum at least.. :wink:

Well as I tend to work from home, I get confused as to whether I am on holiday or working.

Still I could not believe it (Back to victor mode) when I got two emails off of a consultant I am using in Belgium at about 5pm on christmas day. One contained a document that I checked the time stamp on to say that he wrote it at 2pm on the 25th. He tells me that they celebrate earlier than us, but what the heck I thought christmas was 25th December the world over

That's the case with me at the moment so off to work today. Plan was to be off till the 2nd. Only about three hours working time but that's still some worry time used up :lol:

I'm at work too - catching up on some paperwork - at least the phone isn't ringhing non-stop. Oh, the new panels for my bike are in, apart from one (the infill panel) so I will go over to Telford to collect em tomorrow :D

I had an easy start to the day at someone hadn't set the lights to come on in the workshop modern factory etc can't just have a switch can we. So for health and safety reasons we had to stay sat down and have some coffee.

Not only was I in at 7:30 this morning, I'm still here and will be for another hour. Still, not as boring as yesterday, same hours but seemed longer.

On the upside, kids off school so a lie in (ish) tomorrow.
