Met my sv's first owner!

Parked up at work this morning, guys waiting outside the shop for it to open, looks at my bike, looks at me, walks Round my bike and smiles and Goes "I used to own this bike, had her from new!"
Got chatting, found it he sold her to a dealer in daventry, who then sold her to the guy i got her from (in york).
He Sold her to buy a zx9, which he then had to sell 6mths later and he wished he had never sold her!
Found out abit more of her history and alos that he had tried to learn to wheelie on her.. :shock: :shock:

i live in london now but i used to live in northants and my parents still do, so i'm here for christmas...and i just saw where the hein gericke was on christmas eve when i was out in northampton!

I run into my bike's old owner from time to time, and before that it was a demonstrator so I suppose I could say I know the first owner too... Second owner (one before me) always seems halfway fascinated, halfway horrified with what I've done to her lovely stock, near mint SV :) She asked for a go last time, I asked if I could have a go of her Monster or the 748. No, then...

I once got some R&G crash bungs off ebay, went to pick them up from the sellers home in Durham. Gets talking to the guy to find out he used to own the bike I have now, which he had traded in two months earlier and the R&G crash bungs came off that very same bike. How spooky is that.

Very spooky, but this is spookier - the telecom engineer rewiring our phone told me he was a bike rider, when I saw his name I realised he was a previous owner of my bike, I showed him it in the garage, he was amazed, how amazing is that then !
