I have been having thoughts off selling the SV

4000 miles full service history...not crashed...ran in to the book...

All working and correct, not modded in any way...still on the D220's

Not worked out a price yet but serious offers considered...I'll have to get back to you on that.

Seen rain :wink: and lots of other nasty weather too.

I live in Scotland so not exactly useful for the kent region.

I am thinking £3,000.

Started it for the first time today...it has been outside in a Scottish winter for weeks and it started first time...not only first time but with the first click of the starter...that shows something!!!!!

I'm sorry, I was tired, hence typo :) and I posted something here because I mistook it for another thread.

Good luck with your sale, a very fair price, although you might do a bit better if you're a little less honest about it being stuck outside in the Scottish weather for weeks.

Er you may be right there!!!!But it is under cover and the Scottish winter has been very mild :wink:

From my couple of months searching, I'd say that only the very cheap bikes seem to be moving. Dealers are offering very good deals on new bikes, so nearly new don't seem to be commanding big money. Not much help to you I know.

I'm waiting for Spring to go on a more wider audience type thing...selling a bike in winter is a baaaaaaaad idea.

Didn't you say the SV wasn't fit for purpose :lol: Seriously though, the 2nd hand price is far lower than I expected and so keeping it for another year may have to do. I have already lost what I'm going to lose.

If its any consolation, your bike looks to be exactly what I'm looking for.
The problem is, your a long long way away and I'm not in that happy band that is OK with buying unseen.
I'm sure there are more people looking for a bike like yours but you have to wait until there is someone near you, perhaps in the spring when you advertise more widely.
