OK, why do women feel the need to move things. The classic for me was the night I came home after a few scoops, striped off, jumped into bed. OUCH. She had moved the bed whilst I was out.

Well last night she moved the kitchen round. This morning she complained of no hot water. I went in the kitchen and the boiler is flashing. Last Christmas it cost me £175 to get the thing fixed and there is no way I would get a technician out to it until the new year.

What is that underneath. The steam steriliser for the granddaughters bottles steaming away. So I removed the cover and the controller is soaking. Yes water dripping off it. So turned it off and air dryer for half an hour on the circuit board and it now works. Only last night we were talking of the need to get a maintenance contract in place. To damm right I will be doing it as soon as we get into the new year.

At least I got a sorry I didn't think. Well now she realises the damage water can do. Will it stop her putting wet clothing on radiators to dry?. Doubt it, even though she understands the water has to go somewhere and refuses to accept that it is the cause of lifting wall paper. No that is my poor decorating.

We're swimming in the same sea my friend.
Just last night she ame again with the same ****in question; am I fat?, why can't I slim down?
She knows of course, both the state and the cause, but she just wants me to tell her so she can have someone to scream at and take away her frustration. I don't ****in care!! I only do care a bit when she's pillion, as her weight might influence too much the ride but hey, big bum more fun. But tell that to her eh? :) So keep strong laddy you're not the first in this battle field and you won't be the last. I do love her like crazy of course but sometimes...

I keep getting asked

"Which top looks best on me the blue one or the green one"

"The blue one love"

"What's wrong with the green one then?"

There isn't a right answerhttp://webpages.charter.net/kylegdb/smilies/21.gif

Or get a dehumidifier

Much cheaper than using the tumble dryer

Jenni. I love the wife to bits but now and then I need to say how I feel. To do that at home would result in loads of hassle! To do it here is easier. I don't mean to offend any women on here though.

Do what I do; keep schtum on here about it, but just frankly express your displeasure about these things to your wife/partner. It's great; you get the silent treatment which, after all the relatives coming round and the bustle of xmas, is just what I want. Bliss. :D
