Buying a GSXR 1000 for racing

Hey all,

a friend is looking into buying a gixxer for raicing, so he is after an R1 or gixxer 1000 or sthing among those lines.

ANyone knows where we can look for any 2nd hand ones? that have been treated with some TLC:)

I'm afraid the bike is gonna be raced in Greece so hopefully we won't come about one of them

Try www.motoforum.net or Visordown.com racing section, always bikes for sale especially Gixxer thou's. most already converted for racing.

re motoforum - i recomend Steve Mercers R1 - he wants about £6k for fully tricked up piece of kit that spanked pwerbikes with 30more bhp ...( its a superstock spec)... :o

yup seconded...a very very good bike! I know Steve fairly well and he has looked after it well.
