My bikes have stayed in the garage too today

It was starting to brighten up here, until I started to get kitted up, then it started raining and I bottled it. (I did spend all day yesterday cleaning them)

I went into London yesterday and didn't think the weather was all that bad. I did get a puncture on the M4, though, so not a great journey.

Crikey....you had the engine checked out?

Could be so many things I guess.........chain too tight, sprockets out of alignment or engine timing could be out.

Now I've gone and done it!

Well I find mechanical probs interesting. Maybe I need to get out more! :D

I also ask as I am a huge Kwak fan. Have owned many Ninja's and never has one let me down.

I'll not list what has gone wrong with it previously..

an increase in engine braking is all I can describe, feels like a caliper is siezing.. but its not, as soon as you pull the clutch in, the bike rolls fine, when bike is in gear etc, it wants to slow down sharpish.. not as much as it wanted too.. best example is that its trying to turn itself into a V-Twin! but, its now behaving itself more than it has been.. but still not back to what it was...
I'm relatively new to the forum but notice that you seem to have had constant trouble with your kwak  . Wouldn't you be better off dumping the old bird for a, dare I say it?, reliable SV650?
Sorry if I talk out of turn! :)

FFS Gareth, but every 3rd or 4th post you make is related to the fact that you think that your bike is broken, you've had a huge amount of sympathy and advice from people who've forgotten more about bikes than I'll ever know and yet you still witter on about the bloody thing. How many times have we told you spend some money on it and get it sorted out properly. Last thing I want to read is that you've come off and hurt yourself because your bike has a fault that you can't diagnose or fix.

If you cant take a bit of leg pulling now and again don't post about it in the damn first place.

All Ive done in this post was answer questions other people asked me.. I did not bring the subject up.. if people are going to make fun of me for answering another persons question, then so be it. I learn quick enough and wont answer anymore.

And for the record, the bike has been to the mechanics several times regarding this subject... on each occasion I have been told that they cannot find anything wrong with the bike. so unless I want to travel over 40 miles just for a chat with a different mechanic, Im pretty much stuck with their assessment of the situation for now, and have to do some finding out of my own..

Whoa! ...chill out VB... (Have I started something here? ) sorry VB, my comment was a genuine one, ok the SV bit was a little cheeky  .

Perhaps I'm just not as dedictaed as you (good on yer if you are!) I just wouldn't put up with hassle and would have dumped it by now. Still whatever turns your wheels bud.

No offence intended :)
