Hi all,

since joining this forum i have seen a few pics of sv650`s with the exhaust at high level bolted to the rear hanger, can anyone tell me how? is it just a link pipe if so where do i get one price etc..

Call Blueflame and see if they will sell you a high level linkpipe so you can move it.

Can I ask what happens if you want to put soft panniers like the oxford sport ones?

Am I right assuming they will melt?

it should just be a matter of replacing the link pipe and getting an end can strap so it has some support. the only problem with high level pipes is they have a tendancy to melt stuff, like my waterproof trousers. nice big hole in the right leg now.

Yep, mine melts my boot hence the blue heat proof stuff onthe link pipe! lol

I have a high level Scorpion end can and the oxford luggage clears it ok.

Don't know if scorpion sell the link pipes separate, But you will need the spacers for the pillion hanger and the mounting bracket to!
