It can be done, but its a real pain in the @r5e. For starters you need to alter all the clocks, lights and dash and thats before you even fit the fairing. As the S model also has clip-on bars rather than the naked actually using a one-piece handlebar, you "may" have some issues with the clearance from the fairing anyway.

As for the GSXR fairing, well I'm sure it has been done somewhere but can't remember for the life of me where I saw it.

Either way, it is possible just about, but not sure if its cost effective, may be easier to sell it and get a faired SV or the GSXR if thats what you're after.

hi there ive seen it but god know where, i was interested in doiong the same but after seeing the pictures it looked really poo imo anyway.because the gixxer is a 4cyl the fairings are bigger and they look too big on the sv. i`ve looked on net, there is plenty of people talking of it but no pics.... try looking in the body section of this site....some old mssgs of previous conversations may bring something to light...

There's been a couple of guys on SV Rider who've done GSXR fairing fits... Most people use race bodywork which, tbh, is usually inferior in fit and feel to OEM stuff, but it's easier to fit. Quite a lot of work, I gather.
