Guys.
Sorry to post this, I know there are hundreds of posts already on here about this but I just want to make sure before a invest more cash on my baby.
I have a 2000 SV650s faired. I want crash protectors for it but I don't want to alter/cut the lower fairing.
Are there any protectors I can get that will fit and where do I get them??
Cheers

See below for pic of bike and fairing!

Yup, the ones that you linked are the ones that'll fit. Personally I'd cut the fairing and use stronger bungs but that's just me...

Dremel is your friend.

I used a sanding drum in my drill- one of the standard drums is the perfect size. But I'm rubbish with a dremel so I look for alternatives :)

Aye, Motosliders. IMO they're much stronger than the R&Gs, the new R&GS are a wee bit bendy for my tastes. Not to say they're bad, but when the Motosliders are cheaper as well, and don't take the **** with replacement part prices and postage (ie, Nate charged me less from the States than R&G would charge for a single bolt and bung from England) that clinched it. Strong's not all you need of course, if the bung's stronger than the bike then that's no good, but the Motosliders are in use on a huge number of US SVs and I've never heard so much as a single bad word- that's pretty unusual for the internet :)

I reckon GSG Moko is probably just as good, and the old JHS ones were probably better, but you can't get those new any more. And Motovation seem to be exactly the same as the Motosliders but a shade cheaper. There's bound to be others that stand out too.
