You could always do what I did and cut the pegs of a standard hanger. Not expensive and looks quite good.

And Hovis, why would you want a ZX10 hanger on the SV?

You get them here for £33.50 but IMO they look cheap for that kinda money

I paid £30 for mine about 2 years ago so £40 would be about right with current prices methinks.

Make one from ally?
A vice, a hacksaw and a good set of files and you could have something unique.

Yep - in Hovs' case, a missing thumb!
Must admit that I prefer the tube style hangers (if needed).

Hovi5, here is a piccy of mine.
I bought a standard peg off E Bay and cut off the bits I didn't want, filed it down to smoothen it out a bit and then sprayed it with black paint to go with the frame.

Thats looks really good actually :)
Don't know if it would work so well on the silver one though, because you would see all the scratches from where it was filed  Unless of coarse you sprayed it silver......

Hi hovi & gang
I made my own, took about two hours, but i did have a selection of cutting discs and die grinders at my disposal. This was made from a sheet about 3-4 mm thick. Used the existing footpeg and hanger as the guide.

was a mess about at first, but looking at the one with the cut off foot peg, that lokks awesome. gonna do that with mine next job.

Hmm, this has been discussed before. Note how all the pics look to be in the middle of a bright & sunny day with lots of flowers out. Not too many of those recently.
Tis an old picture I tell you, bet just after he bought it. Go on, show us a picture from today.
Not that I'm jealous or nothing......

it was taken not long after i got her but if anything its cleaner now  i havent rode her for weeks because of the ****e weather :?
hovi, i didnt make a template but one is easy to make.
I made mine by cutting the shape very roughly, drilling the two holes for the subframe bolts then bend the first angle away from the bike (on the bench not on the bike!) this the allows the second bend to be done and the basic shape is complete. Then mark and drill the exhaust bolt hole. Finally cut out the shape of hanger that you would like. All this was done around the footpeg.
As long as the two subframe bolt holes and the exhaust bolt hole are in the same postion as the footpeg ones then what you do in the middle is entirely up to you.
Use some thick card as a template if your not sure, then use some wire (coat hanger) attached to the back of the card with gaffa tape bent to the correct angles this will make your template. Remove the wire flatten the card and transfer onto a sheet of stainless or ally. then cut out shape, drill holes and finally bend the angles (I done mine in a vice). Hey presto. This is the best way if your using a jigsaw to cut out the shape.
Hope it helps
just fitted my new hanger off fox7 (thank you)
as you can see i made a cover so you cant see the bracket with a hole in.......which is nice
i am happy
