Wow, I'd say the bloke had a lucky escape indeed.
How much is it worth? Can't wait to marry him and have babies
The cheating dirty bint deserved to be dumped but still can't help feeling sorry for her :?

That's just a little mean. Considering that the story could have been made up :)

Possibly but I'm sure the guy knew it was real before he would do anything like that.
Personally she got what she deserved, that guy destroyed her on the radio and thought it was excellent.
Sheer Class, Spot on

Galaxy 105. Danny from hirsty's daily dose. They're on every morning except sunday from 6am - 10am and they're pure class. you can listen via chrysalis radio and media player on't web.
Danny's from Athersley in Barnsley
Hirsty is from Athersley In Barnsley
JoJo is from Leeds
It's the second one he's done and to be honest the seconds more brutal than the first. First time round he asked this woman out on a date and she pretended she had no boyfriend right up until they'd set time/date/place etc and he asked her.
Hilarious

HA HA!!
Well funny!!
Am I the only one on here that thought that was dreadfully sad? Undoubtedly the worst piece of radio I've ever heard.
Yes she was stupid, drunk, and badly behaved. She made a serious mistake. So, no one on here has ever made a mistake? all so bloody perfect? Listen to you, like a pack of sanctimonious rabid wolves.
Without doubt, the DJ was worst of all, he ought to be sacked for such disgraceful on-air behaviour. Next up, was the boyfriend. What, he loved her? No chance. Neither loved her, or even cared much about her. Revelling in his revenge, but showing himself to be nothing but a b*stard in the process.
As for the girl, she's the real victim. She erred, and now has had her life publically ruined. She alone out of the three of them has shown herself to be the most human, yet has elicited an almost total lack of sympathy. Well, at least she gets my vote.

I have to say I totally agree I have stopped listening to galaxy Yorkshire in the mornings, mainly because of this feature. I find most of the stuff they do on that show as either embarrasing to listen to, in poor taste or just really crap radio.
maybe its time for my radio 2 slippers... :?

OK, for the sake of discussion.
Would you break off your engagement if in a similar position as the lad? Or just accept it as drunken high jinks (they weren't even engaged at the time after all).
Would you not feel humiliated that your girlfriend was commonly known to be cheating on you? and want to belittle her as she has made you feel?
( I can fully see your point that the 'revenge' was disproportionate to the crime)
OK, for the sake of discussion.
Would you break off your engagement if in a similar position as the lad?
No, if you truly love someone then you work it out, even if you've been hurt.
Or just accept it as drunken high jinks (they weren't even engaged at the time after all).
High jinks? More like utterly stupid behaviour. So she was stupid, haven't we all been to some extent at some time (even if we've never gone anywhere near as far?)
Would you not feel humiliated that your girlfriend was commonly known to be cheating on you? and want to belittle her as she has made you feel?
Yes I'd feel humiliated. Probably want to blame her, naturally. But if you're a mature adult, then you work these things out.
I'm not for one moment suggesting she's an angel, just not the evil slag that she was made out to be. And in no way deserved what she got.

Having been in that very situation:
No. Neither would it just be "drunken high jinks".
Yes, then No.
I haven't listened to the radio clip, and won't be doing. But it's always good to read people's opinions :)
I haven't listened to the radio clip
Don't bother. It's cruel with a capital "C", and the DJ's a captal "C" too.

mean- yes. But if you listen the girls first question to the 'goldsmith' "how much is it worth?". The guy had also suspected her having an affair for a while - not just a drunken one nighter. So she sounds like a nsaty piece of work. Either way they'll both learn, and we get a laugh :D if anyone liked that they should try the one they do on the other girl hehe.

Just curious.
Does this Danny lad dump boys as much as he dumps girls on his show?
He seemed to be following through with some fairly misogynistic vibes there.
Either way, sorry, but I actually had a sort of a :smt107 face on when I listened to that thing. Even though I knew it was coming.
I must be a miserable *******, but, I found it about as funny as the bike crash section of the Worlds Funniest Videos program.
As in not even slightly.
The fact that she was after how much it was worth, and gives her boss head rings alarm bells, but... seriously, treating the person you were about to spend the rest of your life with and have kids with like that is.... low.
Sick, nasty and cruel

Since it's more than likely she fancied her boss in the first place, I'd say this wasnt quite as simple as a silly mistake.
Not that that justifies the boyfriends response of course. But then in time perhaps he might see it as his big mistake.
Personally I think they are both just as bad as each other.

I gotta say, if this is actually for real, then yes I think it was sick and disgusting. HOWEVER, I really don't believe that its for real. I would really have thought that there would be legal implications for the radio station. As far as I am aware (and I may be wrong) deformation of character is actually a criminal offense. I really don't think they would be allowed to do this.
