I've just started getting into GO (http://senseis.xmp.net/)(through the Anime Hikaru No Go) and it's reallly hard work but addictive.

I was curious if anyone else on the .org plays or has played (Or would like a game some time!)

For a game with such simple rules and goals it makes chess look like a game of tic tac toe...

Yep. I have a small board and stones.

I really want a proper goban though, that would be nice.

Same here but it's not cheap and you can't get any decent stuff in the UK :(

Ahh yeah I already knew about MasterGames but I dismissed them as I can import a table (http://www.ymimports.com/) for a fraction of the price than they sell for =p

It's only Shin Kaya rather than Kaya but at £170 including shipping THIS (http://www.ymimports.com/Items/YN-FS001-A_YN-SB001-A?) isn't bad

At £350 including shipping If you want to go Kaya then THIS (http://www.ymimports.com/Items/YN-FK001-A?sck=15054875) is nice at half the price of Mastergames ;)

I suppose you could get a painful suprise if customs get their hands on it and slap tax and duties on it.
Even the Kaya boards come in cheaper but again customs could possibly mess that up =p

If I win the lottery I may get a Kaya Decorative Table and Shell/Slate stones =p
(The stones are about a grand a set for the snow grade right?)

just had my 1st game on KGS & won :shock:

although i was getting slammed & the other person gave up :oops:
