ok i bought a full system for my bike from company x a while back, now it was a little bit defective(prob could have fixed it myself), so they sent me a new set of pipes and a return slip for me to ring up some company like parcel force to arrange a collection,
well i kinda forgot, pipes have been sitting in my garage hmmmm 6 months now, how long do you think i need to keep em incase they get in touch, if not i may bin, or sell them on,
sell them NOW
Don't you think that's dishonest? What if they were yours?
sell them NOW

:? slightly dishonest ...yes,but after 6 months i nthink the company will have total forgot about it
but as you say, the right thing would be to send tham back.

im pretty sure a comapny like x will proberly just bin them as defective rather than spend time fixing them,
Erm I would say send them back
sometimes its worth doing the RIGHT thing:)...........others not:)

In exchange for just making a phone call you get that fuzzy feeling from having done the right thing AND some good Karma.
Send em back :)
I had a similar with a monitor, swapped a faulty one at the shop and they delivered a new one as well.
I kept it for 9 months before taking it out of the box, they never came for it.
as for doing the right thing....if they don't care why should you? 8)
If you do not need them why not phone the company up and see if they want them back. You never know, they might say to keep them and then they are yours to sell without feeling guilty......

Umm, because it's right? Doing the right thing is a standalone deal. Don't matter what the other guy does.

i would send it back, what if you wanna use that company again. doubt they would deal with ya.
I think this is one thing that may just get lost in the post ;)

I'd hang on a while longer. If they want them back they will be in touch eventually.
I forgot to send back a phone after an upgrade, and got a reminder after about six months.Found the envelope in the bottom of a drawer and sent it off,but if they hadn't got in touch I wouldn't have done.
