Here goes nothing:

The bike

Suzuki SV650X 1999 model
- Hpi clear (guaranteed)
- Genuine 41,000 miles
- Polished forks with progressive springs (R.R.P £60?)
- Polished front and rear rims
- Slightly polished top yoke (nicer than the norm ;))
- Gold renthals (R.R.P £30)
- New braided lines on the front (not even tested!) (R.R.P £30)
- New battery (R.R.P £30)
- New rectifier (R.R.P £60)
- New seals and gaskets friggin' allover!!
- New mudguard and fender extender.
- Kappa/Givi rack and support arms (R.R.P £60?)
- Bagster Black Leather tank Cover (R.R.P £50)
- Koso digital clocks (R.R.P £120)

Was re-sprayed in black by me with gold decals. Not amazingly well done and the tank has been filled (not an amazing job).*

Spares

- Left & Right hand seat fairings, in blue. Original in decent condition.
- Spare engine in more or less 1 piece. (to be used for spares or rebuild)
- Anything else I can find. This is my 3rd sv so there is bound to be more. Need to clear out garage.

Paperwork

V5c present
Hpi Document
Haynes Manual
Receipts of everything I have spent on it.

Reasons for sale
In order of priority:

- No Job so cannot insure it.
- Parents selling house so nowhere to keep it
- Bike requirements have changed - Next machine will probably be a faired cb500/gs500 or a car.

Location

Probably far away from you. :(

30 miles south of Glasgow.

Will deliver it in a van but deposit and van costs need to be paid upfront. What I pay for the van is what you pay.

The price

£700 with MOT**

Pictures available if requested. Please pm me any questions or comments.

*Paintjob is okay and will last. LHS decal is slightly peeled due to silly pillion. Otherwise it is fine. It will do if you want a commuter or wannabe-rat bike. Replacement tanks on ebay really do go for anywhere between £30-60 2nd hand.

**Negotiable if you don't want the fancy clocks. They can easily be removed and you can put on a cheap £10 speedo if you want! No tax included because I do not have insurance.

N.B ------------------------------------------------

Bike is by all means not perfect, cosmetically anyway. If I could afford it, I would get the MOT put on and ride it as is. If you are vain then it'll be about £30-60 for a 2nd hand blue tank on ebay. You can easily sell off the spares to recouperate the costs.

Looks something like this but with a standard can, braided lines and different clocks.

See what I mean about the tank. £6-8 tank pad would cover the filler. :)

Got a list of spares i need mate if you do dig through the garage! But if your selling the bike quite cheaply i could be interested just to have the parts off it

Good luck with the sale mate
