Monthly Ride Out - Popham Airfield - 2nd Sunday of month

Just thought I'd come over here, hope you guys let me in!

I've posted here before about the monthly SV & Ducati Popham Airfield meet (2nd Sunday of month). For the past few months, we've been having a morning meet at Popham (Top bacon butties), then having a rideout to Portsdown Hill for the burgers, before dispursing home to our various regions.

Would be gr8 to have more 650s there, and maybe see you there over the coming months when it starts warming up!!

Hey TeeJay, what were you on? I was pillion on Silver thou, we were the last of the thous to leave. Must have missed you while I was getting ready for the ride- sorry, see you next month hopefully!

I was on a silver 650 pointy that would have gone totally unnoticed as it was parked beside the gorgeous red 999S. :shock:

Yup! Snow makes it all the more fun! Plus there is a group doing Portsdown as well from Popham if u fancy it!

I quite fancy the ride to Popham but have you seen the forcast for Sunday?
I dont mind getting wet so much but combined with all the salt on the roads I may give it a miss, but will keep an eye on the weather anyway

I've just looked and its looking like we might get away with it.
As I am comming from Gosport are there any meet ups?
If the weather is ok then i will go but not if its bad. Any agreed time and place to meet I will be there on time if I am going. So dont hang around for me after the agreed time.

Not sure who's going,but we're heading out in about 15 minutes from guildford. Some friends have just left from Aldershot, so will see you down there if you're going! We just fancy a bacon sarnie!

Having started the thread for this Saturday I am now not sure I can make it.
I have to go out this Saturday on the bike training and it depends ifMrs Nigel will come along (doubtfull!) or whether I get a day pass having gone out on Saturday.
I will let you know Saturday evening if I can go or whethr I have had the brakes applied!

Sorry not explained properly ment where to meet for the ride up to Popham .I do know where the airfield is.Have actually camped there in tin tent.
